About OLWASCO

Serving Nyandarua County Since 1973

Ol'Kalou Water and Sanitation Company Limited (OLWASCO) was incorporated in 2005 and operates under Section 78 of the Water Act 2016 as an agent of the County Government of Nyandarua. It covers the five wards of Ol'Kalou Constituency across a 536 kmΒ² area.

The company began with a single borehole in 1973. Today it operates 12 boreholes, a water treatment plant, 10 km of bulk pipeline, 25 km of distribution network, a sewerage system and serves over 4,500 connections β€” with a target of 8,780 by 2030.
